I'm in my final year of high school and graduate may 23rd. Up until a few months Id planned on making a career out of welding. But with when I got into penny stocks I realized how there's some nice money to be made, and honestly trading is just fun in itself.

(I have about 1 year penny stock trading experience)
My question is, if my target is to become a Trader full time maybe eventually moving to new york, what would be my best bet to take for college? I live in Michigan. Almost all trading type job postings require a Bachelors. Do you think it would be better to get it in Econ or maybe Finance?

Also I have also been told that it helps to get your foot in the door ASAP at places like a bank, doing something simple there or unrelated to trading just to work your way up. Including a trading assistant basically running errands for them, grabbing lunch for them ect.

Does anyone know of how I should go about job shadowing some investment business? (If theyd even allow it)

Thanks for taking the time to read this, any information will truly help me, belieave me.
