Hi guys.
My Dad worked for General Motors in powertrain management most his whole life.
Cant speak for every car company, but I do believe GM has committed to going all Electric by 2035.
Instead of retraining the older designers and engineers, GM has already offered attractive buyout packages to create room for new electrical engineers & designers.
It does appear that there has been some issues with production & in sales, however this should be only temporary.
Most likely a minor setback in the big picture.
Some setbacks & difficulties are to be expected when converting an entire industry over to a new generation of vehicles.
