What you all not understand : we are in a horrorscenario .....
Everything falls and this is what I say last week : end of the world ......
Not wondering me is how much of traders believing that everything will getting better..
no its all time the same : very long downtrend in a few days and the accounts were blown fast
on margincalls ....
After this came a long uptrend in april .... then the same procedure .....
every scalper try to buy against and the stoploss is not filled , because its only a market-
order ....the moves a so long that nobody can protect his account , bucketshops get
rich and MBA `s bonuses growing ......
Thats the play of the insties and it works perfect .....:whistling
Ackermann is getting rich on stophunts and conection errors .......
I will stop now trading because I learnt after 6 years that a trader will never get 1 cent.

A lot of what you say is true....then again i made $5k this week. Depends with whom you trade I guess. I have lost just as much in the past though

Sorry i didn't put up a chart for you, not on here all that often. It was a classic bearish triangle formation....I can see how it could've been perceived as either a double bottom or 123 formation.....however, it's always important to overlay a us dollar index chart (which was pushing for a breakout).

Took profit at 1117 on long...still holding short from 1117. Bad news coming tomorrow with non-farm....this could prevent a retrace to the former support/now resistance level in in mid 1070's.....however, dangerous to trade the non-farm.

Gold looks positive in the morning, evening will be bearish, overall trend is bearish...

Buy gold around 1076 with a stoploss below 1072 for the target of 1080....

Sell gold on bounce till $1082.50 with a stoploss @ 1086.80 for the target of 1073 and 1067...

Silver looks to be weak comparing to gold, in the coming days a dip 14.60 and below is possible....

You try to play with Gold , but Brokers will play you one time and then goodbye .....
Stoplosses were created from bucketshops to get your money ....
I don`t use stoploss because the spikes came back again if you wait ....
For daytrading is better underlynings with low volatility , so for to play the resistance
and supportlevel game well ....:cheesy:
The rangetrading is well daytrading , but Gold are not rangy ....
The correlations of Gold will kill your win on stoploss and so its imposible to come in win with stoploss .....a random walk zero game ......I tested this 6 years .....

Better trade not Gold and Oil , the Risk is too high !

Today I scalped the GBP/$ very nice win .....
Rangetrading is better than follow some signals , you don`t know if they are Fakey or
3-8 times going up & down until you get crazy ......
Volatility is good for Margincall .....
In a range you could stop by hand and get only loss when he come out of the range .
But I lost only 10-15 points then and a stoploss come after 8 trades .
The risk is 8:1 to get a stoploss on a resistance or supportlevel .
You could set the stoploss near and the losses are not much .
I also trade Oil and Gold some years , but I get often a margincall on high volatility .
You need 50 times more capital for reserve , because on a spike the stoploss is not
given and you must wait 3 days until the return comes ....
A stoploss is only a Marketorder , nothing else , you get the end of the spike ....
So I lost all my win from a hole month .....on one spike !!!
Take care what you trade , calculate you risk before you trade ....
