Very good this morning on DAX
have been using a simple algo as an indicator on M1, but trading manually, good results.
Also testing another EA atm, but not yet that sure about it.
I got a computer clever friend who shall back test it at different times and settings.
so far the simple algo I had for some time was good on the top on normal levels I use anyway, though I use it only on M1

dow into next week
can you see the trend ??? it is down...but recoiling
some areas to watch for

note long down column of O"s ..an uninterrupted down..it went slightly oversold in p/f terms...so we got a recoil

i have had to work hard to filter all the wild moves
30 min data
25 point box size
plot the close
we broke down on 25 march/purple horizontal
we are now in a downtrend
we had a big recoil/column X"s..bounce
there are plenty of areas of horizontal s/r which we can pick off

if we change the plot to hilo we can see how wild the price action really was
i have put on some horizontal s/r lines..these can be picked off quite easily on a candle chart

2 consecutive bearish breakdown signals..purple horizontal..no bullish signal as yet..trend res at 11936 area...chart starts to get bullish again at 12032 area
11936 and 12032 ..big areas if they get hit

@dentist007 I see CADJPY has been consolidating for almost 2 months now..must be getting ready for a big move? Are you keeping an eye on that?

some support has come in

94.40 is a horizntal supp on 4 hour
lets see if that area can hold

H4 current channel on DAX makes me to consider the following possibilities;

1st - to the middle of the channel then up indicated by green lines
2nd - false breakout to the downside and after that move to surpass the all time H
3rd - to continue down after the break out from the channel

There is a lot of time available to complete that retracement (EW4 of the smaller degree), I have had a look at the cycles including Delta cycles and have posted that count on the other thread few days ago.
Wander if the most likely is not the 2nd scenario, allowing for the Eastern break and taking into the account that in any case 4th EWs are difficult to trade.
On a longer TF after that move is done I expect DAX to make a major new H followed by a sizeable correction (Monthly chart)
