FTSE 100 Intraday Trading - October

Todays action is very strange - perhaps indicative of nervousness near a top. I haven't traded today as I haven't liked the look of it. Qute a sell off now, though looks bigger than it is due to narrow range.

I'll be shorting Monday for sure.

The Renko has given an uptick at 4301, but we've bounced off the underside of the 1hr ema, so not long yet.

Since I'm working with a spread, I have to cut out a bit of the choppiness inherent in the default of 2.
It has given another block since my last post. D4F were offering 4295 at the time, I hope I was right to hold.
The Dow looks a bit wishy washy - a ND top perhaps - inconclusive.

not my chart but shows what I saw.

you should be able to see it.

try emptying temp files ?

or just refresh the page perhaps.

but you wont find it on the site as it has hand drawn lines on it.

No, sorry.
I've tried posting the URL into my address bar, but still no joy.
Can anyone else see it?
Maybe you could just tell us what it shows if noone else can see it.

it's a rising wedge from which ftse has broken down with the last fall.

it now seems to be back testing the bottom line of that wedge.

the wedge starts at the high on the 8th across the tops
and the bottom line starts from the low yesterday

Like this? (only without the last droop)

Yes, it has just appeared

More interesting though, to market direction, is the fact that the current rally post 14.00 pm has failed to penetrate the low recorded after 11.00am.

Are you off on holiday for three weeks as from today? If so have a great time. You will be missed.

Jean

The second attempt at the morning low appears more successful -for now

Though it could just be a look at the 1 day SMA for a last time!

thanks Jean
fly out over the weekend but 'er' has started packing already.

I've started to get my fishing gear together and that 'extra special' putter to go in the bag.

so we will probably spend the rest of today and tomorrow at opposite ends of the house.

If I can get away with it !

lol

damn, better mow the lawn as well !

Everyone have a well deserved rest/weekend and Bonsai, hope the golf/fishing is a great success.

Mully,

My wave count is looking suspect, as you suggested yesterday. If yesterday was the high for the current ST move, I'm bringing my target date for the next significant high to Thursday 16th, after a drop Monday.

Have a good weekend.

Bonsai

enjoy your holiday - good fishing, good golf and good living.

cheers - and thanks again for your thread
