They are lotteries running on demo money but winners are paid by FTMO and MFF.
Paying winners is their best marketing tool.
If a lottery doesn't pay winners nobody would buy tickets anymore.
You know you can do a free trial as many times as you want and not spend a dime of your money, right?
If you can't past the trial you'll never pass the real assessment pretty easy to understand and if you were apart of forex factory you'd see people getting paid which prop firms to avoid etc. They have a thread over there that even goes through the math
