Does anybody see the same resistance as me at 1.5780?
It has been tested four times since the beginning of the trade 😏

Only tested twice for me 😕

There's a stronger support/resistance at 1.5790 I think - it was also support/resistance yesterday morning and the resistance of a flag/pennant pattern on Friday too.

Since christmas and newyear are around the corner,
the markets tend to be flat from dec15th to jan 15th..
Guys wud this FMT system work during that period??
Or we just take a month off??

I have just tested it on MT4's strategy tester.
From December 15 2009 to January 15 2010.
Started with 200 €, finished with 200,01
TP 40 - SL 40 : the basic strategy, 0,1 lots

with the "advanced" one, I finished with 260,39
I attached the two equity line.

Looks like today will be another tedious trade for us all lasting several hours...

I tempted to put a pending order, 5 minutes before the news, toward the other side 10 pips far from the price but the platform suddenly stop working and I wasn't able neither to put the buy stop order nor to put the SL closer to the price 😡

What about locking in some profits by closing half position few minutes before the news and let the other part run?
Or putting the SL closer to save part of the gain made till that moment...

What is even better is the better entry. That is the benefit of manual trading.

I was listening to an EA programmer who in essence said that good manual systems seldom make good EA's ... hmm
