No trade Wednesday @ 06.30 by a very thin margin. One indicator is well up but the other is south of the line and at 06.31 even pointing downwards again. Hope FMT system is keeping us out of trouble if we stay away b

I noticed it was a fine line between FMT's NO TRADE signal and going long, so on this occasion it's missed the strong uptrend to date of 50 pips. It's all interesting to watch, as I'm new to using FMT and only have a demo account running FMT at the moment so not an issue, although without the signal I would have probably gone LONG on such strong upward direction of the CCI and Momentum indicator. I'm using ThinkForex at present - any thoughts or advice to me as new FMT appreciated.

I added your totals since you started your new system on 01-28-2011, you're at a grand total of +228 pips ...

How did you decide on your new settings?
Are you trying your new setting a 'live' account?

Yes, these results are all LIVE.
I kept the 6:30 (default) start at TP=30 because it was working fine, but I scaled down the TP on 6:15 start to 25 to give a better chance of hitting to suppliment my total pips, then scaled down 6:00 start further to TP=20 for same reason. I also decided to put SL=50 on 6:30 and 6:15 to give it a better chance to reverse to BE or TP, I noticed alot of times the market was hitting SL of 40 to 45 but not going more than 47-48 before reversing. The 6:00 start has SL=40 to keep risk down but put BE at 15 to give better chance of not getting a negative result and TP=20 to just get some extra pips. I might bring 6:45 start back with same settings as 6:00, it's starting to look good again.
So in summary, I'm using these settings:
6:00 start : 40/20/15/0
6:15 start : 50/25/20/5
6:30 start : 50/30/20/5

Edit: Seconds before 6:30 I expected a long but got a SHORT signal - I may just be glad I stayed out - we'll see...

Short signal, I'm in at 1.61386 on my Demo account, don't think I'd have been in the market if I'd been trading manually so we'll see what happens; can't see NFP making a difference until later, should be out by then

Alpari UK signalled SHORT on my PC...

I'm in short to with the EA but both of the indicators were right on the line when the trade was triggered so I personally think it should have been a no trade. Never seen the EA do this before.

NFP may reduce trading volumes, hence the lack of volatility.
