Asian Coronavirus Outbreak

All those that were laughing at CV and myself buying in supplies a couple of weeks ago can now laugh out their dirty a-holes as we can parade around squeeky clean for a couple of months.

No panic buying then, no panic buying now......for us.

The rest of you selfish layabouts can suffer and wallow in your own sheeeite :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Try buying a mask also, either £140 for a disposable on Amazon or ........[hears the sound of tumbleweed]

...and just in case anyone was thinking (God forbid) that I was straying too far from matters germane to the titular virus:

I spotted just one mask amongst the shoppers at both of those fine establishments; however, an extremely helpful staff member did mention that this morning one of her colleagues who's had a cold for the last couple of weeks was insulted and abused by an irate (and possibly stupid/demented) customer who then proceeded to say that she refused to served by her and that she should "fuck off home and stay there" before storming out of the store, unserved and leaving her full shopping trolley at the till.

Apart from that, I note that there is no hand sanitiser left (possibly on the planet) this being due to so many people not washing their hands properly with soap and water these days and a fair few of them not brought up to do so and therefore being relatively ignorant as to the beneficial effects of this arcane and out-dated procedure.

...and finally (yes!! at last:)) I did observe that glove wearers are becoming increasing common and perhaps we can expect a resurgence of glovers and their industry when this unfortunate episode is over.

London - diversity is a strength, part and parcel....etc

Got a box of disposable blue gloves (had it for years actually), rather fetching look to them I would say and I love the smell of latex in the morning.

I'll only use these as a last resort (yes I'm self sufficient in brewing beer, no panic buying of ale needed here).

I suppose you could call this Scheißenfreude.....

Corvid has mutated into a more aggressive form?
It's from Telegraph - are they reliable?
I cant get any more as full story behind paywall, and I have no money, and they wont barter a tin of beans for it.

From the National Science Review* published abstract of the paper:
"Population genetic analyses of 103 SARS-CoV-2 genomes indicated that these viruses evolved into two major types (designated L and S), that are well defined by two different SNPs that show nearly complete linkage across the viral strains sequenced to date. Although the L type (∼70%) is more prevalent than the S type (∼30%), the S type was found to be the ancestral version. Whereas the L type was more prevalent in the early stages of the outbreak in Wuhan, the frequency of the L type decreased after early January 2020."

Didn't I already say that in less convoluted language?

But it's nice you include references as well.

Our bid to become the wikipedia of all things trading is surely well under way.

The burning question, though is - Will there be a E-type ??

:)

A side effect of my day job is galloping anility

Yep. You did... but I was replying to Trendie's plaint about the possible unreliability of his chosen brand of toilet paper (not sure how the digital version works there) and trying to add some clarity as to the source rather than the content itself.

. . .I can only think that supplies are holding out in CV's neck of the wastelands due the denizens being less full of shit.
Tut-tut cant'; the clear inference of your post is that anyone south of Brum is overflowing with it and, as a southerner, I take great offence to this. On the social justice wokeness ladder - this outrageous comment is only a few rungs short of full blown xenophobia. Consequently, I have no option but to report you to the Police for a non-crime 'hate incident'. In the coming days, you can expect a phone call or visit from a 'social cohesion officer' (whatever the fcuk that is) who will ask you to 'check your thinking'!!!
