Too cynical. Very few people who are found by the police to have committed an offence are prosecuted. The primary test once the evidence is collected is to establish public benefit from prosecution. Hard to see that this prat's likely to do it again. He doesn't need persuasion that this was wrong: there isn't a driving need to establish a pattern of offending using this offence. He certainly won't do this again as a government advisor, he's already had to jack that in.

So the minimum they should do for these two globalist idiots, with overwhelming evidence of rule breaking, is issue a minimum 2 FPNs (1 each) for each breach day proved with evidence.

But will they? Not a chance.

Societal change is underway, pushed further by the climate change agenda, restrictions on office workers will force employers to make home working permanent. Schooling can be done remotely, so the arrangements for schools will change to be more remote teaching, probably on a rotational basis. Air travel and foreign holidays will be severely restricted, high prices on airfares and social distancing in resorts will put many off. There will be immunity hotels only, domestic and foreign.

Now we have less cars and aircraft and almost no consumption of fossil fuels, there will be a massive push by the climate agenda to keep it this way. How else are they going to meet the 2050 net zero targets?
