Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

Anybody think we can drop higher.
There was a video on this forum a few days ago saying DOW 50,000 in the next couple of years.
Big Mac 50 bucks.
Because of the FED.

5 year high in Dow could be inkling of depreciating dollars,

when zimbabwe dolalr collapsed the zimbabawe stock market was the star performer that year rising 4,000% or something very huge

The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (the ZSE) is the best performing stock exchange in the world, the key Zimbabwe Industrials Index up some 595% since the beginning of the year and 12,000% over twelve months. This jump in share prices is far in excess of increases in consumer prices. While the country is crumbling, the Zimbabwean share speculator is keeping up much better than the typical Zimbabwean on the street.

If you work on the basis that printing money (QE) is ultimately inflationary (and a neat way of clearing your debts) then DOW will rise to at least match that inflation. P'raps that's what the guy was getting at.

Zulauf made the point that money printing merely replaced the reserves of banks, the banks have huge losses from mortgage lending, money printing replenishes bank balance sheets, for example uk's RBS went from assets of 10billion to minus 1.3 trillion and counting in 10 years.

doesn't matter what it's used for - if your 1000 shares are represented by $1000 then each share is "worth" $1. If you print more money so that the 1000 shares are represented by $2000 then each share is "worth" $2

Zulauf's point was that massive losses running into trillions were in the banking sector, if little RBS can lose 1.3 trillion, the US banks losses would be enormous. the QE merely filled the holes left by those trillions in losses so inflation effect was negligable,

Whats it like trading this on DMA.

I kept the platform, only do some options rarely and some stocks. use the platform because i am too sad to learn anything new. Used to trade FTSE futures using j-trader, that was awesome. I would like to switch to meta5 but cant find out how to program its custom indicators.

the platform i use is called MyBroker, from Tracdata. its "the most powerful quotation system on the planet" or your money back ! it is feature rich, u can link the data feed direct into excel, they have 20 chatrooms built into the platform. its aimed at the US mainly.

WOW

That moved everything.
Must be time for barjon some time today
Long FTSE and short DOW.

anyone trading AUDUSD

Was short at 1.047 but stopped out 1.049.
Had a couple of long and short scalps in Asia.
Won't touch again until Monday after US and checking levels over weekend.
Very strange going over 1.05, EUR is also strong.
