Very interesting, might be a negative outlook on ftse today if BP runs that course then.

RDSA similiar and has 100ma cross in addition

Didn't realise it carried that much weight in the ftse. I think BP is about 9% isn't it?

so a good forward indicator? did it move before the ftse?

when rio falls it takes the rest of resource sector with it and it is a "canary in the coalmine" for china slowdown

RIO reports half year results on the 8th August.
RIO have an over-reliance on iron-ore.
Makes BHP Billiton the better big mining bet.
