what made you close? I did the same, mainly from looking at the whipsaw but wondering if you took any particular signal to close?

I trade micro - just saw a little too much volume halting price at that point. Not saying the move was over - but There was the chance to get a better price later.

My stops tend to be 15 pts max, so no point in holding too long any position (IMHO)

Theres always this flurry of activity at the open and then the relentless grind higher.
A sure way of making money consistently is to wait for the dow to drop 100 points then buy it , because it ALWAYS goes higher!

Does anyone look at tick charts? I've been trying to look at them in conjuction with 5min and 1 min to see price reaction when we reach key levels but it seems to be hit and miss how i interpret it.
