Was having a good day, and for some highly stupid reason i put a ton on on what he did at around the same time. Profited extremely nicely but it should be a lesson that i should NEVER do that again.

Does anyone here use IG for spread betting the FTSE?

i use IG, spread bet NY time, 9am EST when FTSE is midday. Always seems to follow the S&P open, so either big slide or either big drop
