Hey everyone.
My apologies for another off topic post.
I am all for equality & unity.
Where i stay, we had a group today which focused on equality for all. I believe we should not focus our attention on the color of ones skin. Judging someone differently based upon the color of ones eyes or hair is senseless. We should not focus our attention on the color of one's shoes. Maybe we could focus our attention to ones ability to buy shoes.
In my opinion the issue should be equal opportunity for all human beings regardless of race. I would direct attention to a problem with poverty.
There are white students in very poor school districts as well as Latin & Asian. It seems like people are focused on the wrong issue. We could help people out of poverty, regardless of their skin color.
Diverting everyone's attention to poor black people is kind of a racist way to approach the problem, which is poverty. Not skin color. There are poor white, Asian & Latin folks as well as black who live in poor school districts.
I am different & a bit unconventional. To me we should help poor people out of poverty regardless of their skin color. Focus our attention to fairness & equality for everyone. If there are 2 students in a poor school district... 1 white student & 1 black student we should help only the black student?
We should love all human beings equally. Treat people like you would like to be treated. Look after 1 another. Help people out of poverty regardless of skin color. Provide equal opportunities to learn in all schools.
I don't believe we have a problem with skin color. We elected a African-American for president 2 terms in a row! The leader of our nation was black.
If you want to raise an issue, we have lots of people in poverty. We have a few percentage of individuals who have a huge amount of wealth. We should help everyone equally. Isn't that what it's all about? Help a poor white, black, Asian or Latin human being so they have equal opportunity. Students in all school districts deserve an equal chance to learn, grow & thrive.
I'm not attempting to open a big debate. I thought I would post my point of view. I believe to help only African-Americans out of poverty isn't right. We should help all people equally. In my opinion poverty is the problem, not skin color.
We should focus our attention to improving all schools & students equally. We don't have to approach poverty in a racist way. We can believe in equality for all human beings. We should help all school districts so every student has an equal opportunity to listen, learn & grow.
I always feel like I should apologize for posting my point of view. Its only my opinion. Doesnt mean im right. If we disagree it's ok. My intentions are only good. I post because I care about people & planet earth.
Hope every human can be treated & treat people fairly & equally. We can all improve & help others improve together.
Let's all stay safe & be well.
