I don't think it is easy to handle those sort of swings, and will almost always end up in blowing up.

A really bad day for me, where everything goes wrong would be -4%. And that would hurt. I saw sometimes you are down -50%, -60%. Don't like your risk management but you obviously have some guts

that's pretty solid. could you share with me your trading plans? if you make money, about what % do you make a day for an average day?

My point is more: what is the probability of ruin for your account?

If you are risking up to 61% on a single losing day (one of your posts on the previous page), you are almost certain to get the whole account wiped out. It doesn't matter how large it grows, it will get cleaned out, sooner or later. Maybe you will hit your target before ruin and switch trading style.

Even if you survive ruin, if you lose 61% on a single day, you then have to make 160% just to get back to even. So not sure such big swings make sense there either.

meta, msft, aapl, and amzn went up really high from the start. I was trying to time its drawback. it didn't. I went in too big, using half of my positions. it kept going up and I really wanted to enter more but watched, as it as possible for the stocks to shoot up like crazy today (based on the charts). when it looked like it was losing strength and trying to go back up higher wasn't working out, I entered my other half position. exited right before this short bounce. except exit, A++, but horrible position sizing, risk management, and entry. From now on, no matter how sure I am, the max I will go on one position will be $500. I'm so tired of almost losing all of my money. Going to really try to do great risk management as my winning percentage is really high.. it's just risk management that always blows my account up. C+
