Mr. Charts has started a thread on this forum entitled: 'How To Make Money Trading The Markets' in which he proposes to explain in detail one of his set ups. As he is a full time professional trader with many years of experience, his thread will generate a lot of interest. Here's a link to the thread:

A number of members have started similar threads, of which trader_dante's 'Making Money Trading' in the First Steps forum is perhaps the best known. t_d's thread is extremely long as many people have posted questions with charts of (proposed) trades wanting to know if they've understood his set up correctly. Mr. Charts has expressed the wish that members DON'T do that on his thread, thereby keeping it 'clean', uncluttered, and undiluted by posts from members who may not have interpreted or understood the set up correctly. That then, is the purpose of this thread. This is the place to post charts of trades - actual or proposed - with questions about the interpretation of Richard's set up. Allow Richard to steer his thread in the way that he wants and make this thread the depository for the inevitable red herrings, tangents and cul-de-sacs that are sure to emerge. With any luck, there will also be some useful ideas, interesting debate and lots of fun for all.

timsk,
This thread is an interesting idea, but I must make something crystal clear.
I simply do not have the time to respond and analyse people's trades, charts, point out errors, variations whatever. It's not that I don't want to, it's simply that I do not have the time to respond in such a way as I'm busy with trading and other trading related activities which I can't mention and helping a number of people who I already know.
Because of this, this thread might well lose focus, but I would suggest that interested people refer back to the main thread timsk has mentioned.
Again I'm sorry not to be able to take on such an open ended responsibility and I'm certain timsk didn't mean it as such, but I wanted to make it clear to those who might expect me to comment on their charts.

Thanks! I'm sure newbies like me will really appreciate any tidbits of knowledge from the likes of you and TD! (y)

I'm happy to "read-only" your analysis.

Hi Richard,
Fear not and point taken. Indeed, the whole purpose of this thread is relieve you of the immense burden that t_d found himself lumbered with on this thread, where he has tried valiantly (and continues to do so) to respond to the numerous requests for help, guidance and instruction etc. The idea is that you may focus all of your time and attention on your main thread and ignore this one completely if you want. This will ensure - hopefully - that your thread remains 'clean', concise and uncluttered with peripheral posts. Members can post here instead so that this becomes a sort of self help thread for those that are interested in your ideas and wanting to implement your set up. There's no need for you to have any direct involvement with this thread at all if you don't want to. Needless to say, if you have the time and are inclined to comment along the way, your input would be extremely welcome.
;)
Tim.
