Trying to start a discussion. Why do the stock markets, futures, indices, currencies, commodities, move the way they do?
I know a simple answer can be there were more aggressive buyers at this price than sellers or vice versa, supply and demand.
That's fine. But there is a hidden order in the movements. It isn't completely random.
If you believe in support and resistance, why do they exist? Why do they sometimes work as entries and sometimes not?
Isn't it somewhat amazing that various markets have been trading 100 years and if you look at a chart from then and one from now, you probably won't discern much difference. I still look at Wyckoff's analysis from the past and see the same 'patterns' playing out, but it is STILL hard to trade well.
