So if one plays poker one's entire waking existence, isn't one missing out on, you know, life and stuff?
Come on. If you weren't playing poker you would just be hitting the refresh button on the forum, or is that just me....

...it shows the desperation of people in this forum that they have to jump on something as pathetic as a hand count claim from over 3 years ago.
Your PM count must be higher than my blood pressure ;-)
can you play online poker with like a rule based system?

How do you mean? When you play 24 tables you have to play in a fairly uniform way due to time restrictions.
It is like a normal poker game. You see your cards and you see the cards on the board. You can see how much everyone who is playing the hand is sitting with on the table. Action goes clock-wise and button's last to act. You can see the size of the pot, how much they've bet and how much they have left behind. You can get software which makes notes on people and gives you stats about how many hands they play, how often they re-raise and from what position. how often they continuation bet on flop/turn etc. you can even buy hands on people (which is a shady area but illegal on some sites.)
oh so you would have to like tyoe that in to a computer in real life all the time?
are there any poker websites with like an API or a poker equivalent of FIX?
Any idea where you can get this software from? Not the illegal part...
i dont mean bout looking at a players "hand history" (watever that is) but just that it looks like there are lots of probabilities and "trade sizes" in poker and you can nearly always rely on the average person to get it all wrong?
so just have an expectancy based poker strategy based on the fact that most people are crap at gambling rationally?
