CapitAlpha in Cyprus has just phoned me up wanting me to deposit some money and trade on their signals. I get phoned up by a company like theirs in Cyprus at least once a month. I'm in England and can choose lots of brokers here, regulated by English rather than Cyprus authorities. Why on earth do these companies think I would be interested?
All these brokers not only call, but message in the social networks, I receive several messages per week to my personal account. I wonder how they find me, by my postings about my trades?
I don't know what's the matter with them.
Maybe there is a great competition between Cyprus brokers and they are ready to do everything to get clients 😀
I don't know what do they expect from me, as my investments are not so big and forex isn't my main income at all. all I can invest is a couple of bucks, so why me? I don't know
By the way, I've never heard about that company, it may be new and unknown... so they want people to know about it. Somehow, calling people by mobile phones is kind of rude...

I'm not surprised to be honest.. Nowadays, I'm sure you can buy traders' contact details or whoever's contact details. We provide a lot of personal information on so many websites on the Internet that's been saved and then sold
Somebody has passed your name into the bucket that says "this guy is a gullable, easy to con fwckuit". Try having some fun with them the next time, string it out a bit without giving anything back.

I also get phone calls from many brokers from Cyprus, it's heaven of financial brokers and result they are competing for getting clients by numrous marketing ways.
Just kindly ask them to remove them from their cold call list. As all conversations are recorded they are obliged to follow your request.

I still don’t know why they call every week! Most of them has no idea about fundamental of FX and they still call to remind an important event coming!
But, I think they call to justify the trader if he knows trading. So that they can put him in the B book at the beginning. I found this calling has no reason.
That is why I’ve chosen FCA regulated tickmill, they call me only when I request them in live chat. I don’t trust CySEC brokers anyway.

Just don't receive any call from Cyprus. That's all.
Calls from which country do you consider credible? Or only from your broker 😀?
I guess they are not limited to cyprus only, if you stop picking up those calls they will simply switch numbers and start calling you from other locations like i once experienced calls from a broker and when i started ignoring these calls i started receiving calls from +44 numbers and again the same broker representative..
Or a new employee who has the same list but hasn't crossed me off. I've had two of these calls today. Maybe I should start reporting them to the telephone preference service although if the callers are outside the UK I don't know how effective that will be.

Yeah I did that before but if you at least tried to open real trading account with some small broker, if things get worse they'll readily sell your info to other brokers, so I guess only high reputable and legit brokers are place to open trading accounts with being worry for personal information safety.

Ok, I think next time we should only provide real information enough to make payment with broker. Other personal information could bring more nuisances.
