Exactly as I have throughout my Watch thread. Change in account balance from start of month to end of month as a percentage. Anything else would be a disservice to readers who want to compare it with my other posts.

others criticise your method
you're keeping them off the thread cause you don't like the lulz (and they happen to be right)
you can find the criticism here

T2W's management has created this mess.

You know as well as I do that any descenting point of view will not be allowed on Howards thread. It matters not how well argued or polite.

The excuse that he's creating a lulz free zone will be given (ironically, his content is far more lulzy than anything I've seen to date on T2W, but thats beside the point)

If the journal thread is hidden away in private, he's given free rein to operate unchallenged. Its the equivelant of T2W's management turning the lights out in the park to help muggers !

The only practical solution is to allow those with the understanding to debunk this nonsense to do so. I'm sure there'll be lulz, and it'll be hell for the moderators, but thats what happens when you lend credability to charlatans.

Timsk (content manager!) was all like "well count your lucky stars I'm not a mod son or else you'd be out here like a shot" to me when I said there was very little quality content but look at the bullsh!t that is allowed on here.

If you got rid of lulz there would just be less lulz and cr@p like this would rise to the surface. everyone should just stop pretending that this is about trading for real and get on with the lulz. to be honest I just think that mods/admin are pissed off with the lulzers like howard is pissed off with the lulzers because secretly they know we're right.

at the end of the day I don't think anyone really gives a sh!t but the hypocrasy is unparalleled.

TBH it's unbelievable that someone who has openly confessed to having little experience in this field still deems themselves fit enough to teach. What I find even more astounding is that it appears to be with the full blessing of a site that aims to help trading noobs avoid this exact type of pitfall...

Yes that's the biggest problem. I quite like all the staff and wouldn't do their job (but then again, I can trade, so why would I?) but with the exception of one they don't really have a clue... and the one who does only has a clue by being worldly wise, rather than knowing much about trading...

I know nothing about this Howard fellow but did I understand correctly that he can make a thread essentially promoting himself and his services and members can be prevented from commenting if he so desires? I know we've had the whole deleted posts debacle several times but this would be taking it to a different level, more akin to a penny stock forum, most of which im already banned from.

well yeah pboyles and I had the same conversation with both admin and mods about it. The mod (who shall remain anonymous) said:

"well he's not including a link or asking people if they want teaching so he's not breaking the rules. If you don't like it talk to admin"

and then I spoke to admin about his interview who said

i think if the people at tradetowin (whoever you all are) want less lulz and more good stuff they should start by showing their intentions for good postings and ban howard and delete his threads.

He is making a joke of the whole site, and people that might have some experiences to share with other members can see it from a mile off, so it's hard to take site seriously so you get lulz.
