Hi All,
I have decided to bite the bullet and go to university.:smart: I will be 22 come Sept 2009 when I start and so think it would be best to go to a University closer to home in London. I got 3 B's at A level (regretting taking my foot off the pedal up to exams after getting a job offer), and am looking at finance/banking/economics based courses.
My main question is actual university to choose. I will class as a mature student which should help me get in to a better university than you would expect on my grades. But I would expect even then as I dont have a maths A level I will struggle with the likes of LSE/UCL. Would going to a "lesser" university such as London Met/Kingston/Greenwich if I dont get in make it hard/impossible for me to get a start at a leading company come graduation? Also I will be applying to work internships over all university holidays aswell as part time during term if such placements exist so would hope to have work experience (I would have 3 years full time accountancy experience and am Currently studying my Unit 1 & 4 SII).
Thanks for any advice you can offer.
Steve
