I'm just getting into online investment and having looked at the basic data supplied by Monitor 1 on the ADVFN site, I realise that I'm unclear how many of the terms are defined.
One of the first columns is chg but which price is used for the change? There is also high and low but are they for the previous day or the previous 52 weeks . How is the current price related to the bid and offer price, and so on.
I would really appreciate if anybody could point me to a website (ADVFN was not helpful) or publication that would quickly give me the info I want. I've tried quite a few but either the information is not there or it is conflicting with that of other sites.
