e2a: I have noticed this month that of the 3 failed trades I've had this month, 1 was completely directional but the other 2 were due to higher volatility and hence the stops were too small. don't know if you've noticed this ilir.....

It is with the second stop where volatility gets me in trouble, the b/e. Surprisingly, it takes a directional issue to trigger my original stop. Of course, this is based on my limited data set.
