Hi all,
I really need your advice. I am 29yr F and having had a whole other career I am now burning to get into trading for a second career. I've been reading and learning over past year and a half but I have no qualification as in degree, etc. in this area- as of yet anyway.
I have been trading from home and have found that I'm really good at it, I love watching and reading about the markets and I would do anything now to get a trading internship.
How up against it am I, being female, 29, and having no qualification in finance? I can sell myself to them in that I've been successful in my previous career and studies and other hobbies and I know I have the character traits they want and my cv will illustrate that, but I still wonder what can I do to make sure I won't be overlooked for a male, younger, with a finance related degree. I am prepared to do whatever study it takes to get to my best level in this.
Also, if anyone has any advice about how I should go about applying for an internship please post.
Thanks a mil.
