You are always going to have trades open - and they could escalate if you are a multi trader concern and worry - plus the fact you are then losing probability on speculating on a longer view over say 4 hrs or a day - and then if there is new news during that period - more problems.

Hedging might be - and I say might be great if you are a longer term trader or an investor - but the trade off is lower ROC on a daily/ weekly basis for intraday or day traders

You certainly don't need to provide any proof of a live account or anything.
As 'F' says, that's between you and your accountant.
Just be honest, and tell us whether you are an expert trader or not.

If you say you ARE, then that's good enough for us here at trade2win, and that shouold be the end of it in terms of questioning your abililty.

sounds like an advanced methodolgy for short term tradings specialists.
A more modern way of trading as opposed to using stops which is an antiquated form of risk management, popular in the 90's.

Pete was given the title in his severance package from Richard Branson, He was a Expert condom maker and now applies it to his trading status, Is that right fxmo ?

Would have to 100% disagree.
He is talking about advanced money management/heding techniques.
Until you've put in the hours on the front-line using his methods and placing the trades at the hard-right-edge, you'll never understand them - and that's why he's able to get teh accuracy in his trading that he does.
Need to move with the times and think outside the box if you want to make it.

Only nearly 25 yrs in the condom industry ;-)

I preferred the R & D side when I was younger - it was very up and down ( lol) just like trading I suppose

We were individuals, most of us with own threads, some of us contributed on shared interests in other's thread.
We formed a "group" AFTER we got banned from FF - very much like refugee gathering...

As to jackprobe - I don't personally know him, he's not part of the current "group", but maybe he was a silent follower - I really don't know or remember.
I can scan my thread and look him up - but don't have time for that right now.

I can see your point - but I don't think I'm going to apply it.

You see, I'm responding to the SUBJECT of the thread (if I have something to contribute) - I'm not going to launch a full scale investigation about the individual that open or wrote something in that thread.

I also automatically accept any "friendship" or "buddy" request...
Maybe it's a mistake or a character flaw...
