Thanks for the suggestions folks, I'll see what I can do.

In the meantime I've got five more games to add over the next five weeks - but you'll have to wait and see what they are.

I had my reservations at first about adding the arcade to the site - that it was inappropriate for a site like this. But thinking about it, it does exhibit some of the competitive characteristics of the trading environment, the need for lightning reflexes, perseverance and accepting your losses...

Ahhhh... who am I kidding, it's just good old fashioned fun!!! Roll on asteroids!

This weekend's new game is Asteroids - the classic arcade game.

The controls are simple:

"Left/Right Cursor Keys" turn your ship anti-clockwise/clockwise
"Up Arrow Key" to Apply Thrust
"Space Bar" to Shoot Gun
"A" Key to Hyperspace

The object of the game is to acquire points by shooting the asteroids and ufos whilst making sure they don't collide with you.

So I get over 17,000 in 'Breakout' then it tells me :

This weekend's new game is Hexxagon - one of the most popular animated board games of strategy, loosely based upon Othello and Attaxx!

Object of the Game

The object of the game is to have the majority of your colour discs on the board at the end of the game

How to Play

You create new discs by moving around the board.

A move consists of either a "growth" or a "jump". A growth is when you select one of your pieces and place a new piece in an empty adjacent space, including diagonally. A jump is when you select one of your pieces and move it to an empty space that is two position away. This includes diagonals and "knights moves".

Once placed, any opponents pieces that are adjacent to the new piece (either through growth or jump) are flipped the to the moving player's colour.

If you are unable to move on your turn, you are skipped. There is a chance that your opponent may be forced to make a move that will let you move again.

Please note, the Player 1/2 selection has been disabled - you can only play against the computer as the Red Jewel.

The object of the game is to make as much money as possible!

How to Play

Roulette is a simple, classic game based around a large spinning wheel, and the fate of a small marble spun inside of it. Roulette's rules govern how we may bet on the fate of that marble (in more modern times, it's become a plastic ball), the when's, the how's and the where's. The roulette wheel is broken up into small compartments, each compartment labeled with a number and a color. The wheel is spun, and a small ball is released to fall into the spinning wheel. The ball will eventually come to rest in one of the small compartments, and it's where the ball comes to rest that is of interest to the roulette bettor. As a player, you can make one of any number of bets available on the table. Each of these bets fall into one of two categories: inside bets and outside bets. Inside bets are located on the inner section of the table, and are all labeled with a specific number. Almost all inside bets pay off at the same odds in standard roulette rules. Outside bets are located along the outer edge of the table and are usually associated with a characteristic of the compartment the ball ended up in (whether it's an odd number, a red compartment, part of range of numbers, etc.).

This week's game, the 80's classic - Simple Simon, will test your memory, and, ultimately, your sanity!

Object of the Game

The object of the game is to memorise Simon's sequence of lights.

How to Play

Simon will show you a sequence of lights/colours. You then have to repeat that sequence by clicking your mouse on the coloured buttons. If you remember the right order then Simon will add an extra light/colour to it for you to remember - get it wrong and it's game over!
