Stratford fx info needed

It should work for UK companies but foreign ones will not bother but at least it gets rid of some of the phone spammers!

Stratford, William Lord ... etc.

Hi Guys,

Been looking for this !

Four months and god knows how many phone calls from William Lord.

I knew this was a hit and I've been trying all this time to get their IP address.

They always wanted to fax ... until today !

They even did a cc to Jim Davies of Tiger Investigations in Florida for me! Jim looks
after my interests ... http://www.tigerinvestigations.com

This might be fun !!

There`s a few of them isn`t there?, I got a call a couple of years ago from a group in Barcelona..can`t remember the name though...and just recently got another from the same place Spain, from RichmondRoyce, a costly 30minute call to my cell/mobile, {Spain to Australia}, promoting currency options, with a brokerage price of US$300 per trade, I can`t say whether or not they are good or bad, yet they do have the "high pressure" type sales folk, and there was the juristiction/registration question. In all fairness, and The funny thing is if I had have put a trade on the Euro which they were promoting at the time, on the Forex platform (not currency options), I would have saved on brokerage fees and I would have come out way infront.

I have been receiving 'cold calls' from these Stratford guys since last month. My guys in FSA advised me that they are not authorised to carry out any regulated financial activity in both Spain & UK and they are not allowed to harrass UK customers with their investment advise too. I have already made a formal complaint to FSA about their activities and I was advised that since they had breached provisions of the Financial Service & Markets Act 2000 I should keep a recorded log of all phone calls from them as they are trying to build up a legal case against them due to lots of complaints from other customers. My advise ould be to just to play along with them ,record their scam investment advise and get any contact name that would be used by the FSA against them.

You can contact

Dealing with an unauthorised adviser or firm such as Stratford Advisory Services (dont confuse them with the popular/legitimate US based Stratford Advisory Group ) means you don't have access to the FSA financial services compensation scheme should things go wrong.

If you have been a victim of a 'cold call' from the Stratford Advisory Services, you should retain all material and documents provided to you, including recorded phone calls. You should report the matter to the FSA and also to your local Police. It is very important for the Police to have a record of your complaint. Based on a number of complaints, the police may be able to assess the magnitude of their unregulated activities. The FSA is still collating complaints about Stratford Advisory Services from UK consumers, so if you have been a victim you know what to do. You can also claim damages from them even though they are based in Spain. Check with www.lawcentres.org.uk for free legal advice, they are also willing to take up unsolicited 'cold call' cases free of charge.

Racer,

you seem to have started this thread just to trash this company - I feel you are invloved somehow in a rival company

discuss?

I am certainly NOT involved in any rival company. I do not work for any companies, I receive no commission of any sort from any company.

I have a "friend" who used to work in one of these joints. Lets Call him Brian. Not His Real Name
He worked In Spain, Phillipines and Bangkok
He said he hated the work, but it paid well, and got to visit other places in the world where he would otherwise never have gone.
The outfit would ALWAYS call overseas from where they were based - NEVER the country of residence.
The script would always be alomg the lines of - "lets do a small deal now, & if we make you money - would you come back and do more business in the future?" - The promises were outragous - but based on the greed of the punter. (Who wouldn't loke an 30% return in 30 days?)
Would they actually invest the money as they say they do? - come come now! - are you going to run over to Florida or Bangkok - looking for your $5,000? - do you where to go, who to see?

Brians cut woulds be 10% of whatever anyone wires in - usually $5,000 for starters- ( more would usually follow)
Is it Legal? - Well I don't know that it is against the law of the countr you are in

No - I do not think anyone else on this site is in competion with these scam merchants.

Stratford FX

Hey, ever heard the saying "without an event there is no story"? The pitch these guys make can be very convincing but if it sounds too good to be true then it is!!! One thing I found myself thinking perhaps after the 8th or 9th call from Mr Lord (William that is) is if he is sooooo busy making money for his clients, how comes he finds the time to call me at least twice a day over a 10 day period? Surely if you want to make me money, then the onus is on me to call you and not the other way round. If you find yourself warming to their pitch and tilting towards investing then remember this one thing "A FOOL AND HIS MONEY ARE SOON PARTED!". :|

Racer,

dayplayer, Why do you think I started the thread just to trash the company?

I joined this board in 2001, have you got any references from all my previous posts to back this up?

Dayplayer, I presume that you are one of the friends of StratfordFX trying to use PR stunts to polish up the acts of this Barcelona based company that specialises in making cold calls to UK based customers with a view to turning their Euro10,000 placements into Euro30,000 within a wek through FX Option Trading. If something smells like s**t then it must be s**t.

By tracing the antecedants of the company through their previous name which was blacklisted by the FSA is enough smoke to warn unsuspecting pundits . I wouldnt risk my Euro10,000 to a faceless company in Barcelona to make money for me so that I can have a testimony to forewarn others about the dangers of doing business with Stratfordfx.

If they are so sure about their FX Options skills why dont they take out a Loan and Trade for themselves and make all the 30% returns for themselves. I am not afraid of taking the risk of dabbling into FX Options but doing business with guys based in Spain unregistered by the Spanish Financial regulators and blacklisted by the FSA under their previous name is the "Mother of all Risks" I would'nt even wish upon my enemy.

Since my Lawyers prepared their next step of action both Stella McClure , William Lord and the rest of their cohorts have gone underground as the Courts in Barcelona can not issue a writ of summons to them as their address is only a P.O.Box, just a matter of time and their nefarious will all be exposed

Dayplayer, take this message back to your friends at Stratfordfx and tell them that its not over until its over.

There a Joke

Stratford fx is a complete scam in every aspect.
But really, if they could make £10'000 into £300'000 in a year they wouldnt be working!

hi guys,
when i last spoke to william lord, i asked him why his address in spain was a PO BOX............
he said it wasnt a box but a huge trading office.........................he had even come off the FLOOR to make a quick call to me.....................even i aint that green to fall for that!
i got them to send a registation form...................................so this was the follow up call.
i then told him the FSA was after him................. and i havnt heard a word since!

William Lord? - I have have rang the Co, looking for him - It appears Mr Lord Is no longer with the the Co, - But Darran Cox is.
Question for Mr Cox of Statford FX - Has your name now changed from Lord?
I know you are watching this site - give me a call - again
