I'm looking for software that can access my own historical database (end of day, open, high, low, close) that I maintain manually. Does anyone know of a package that will do this for the least cost possible? I don't want access to live data, fancy indicators, etc, although being able to draw trend lines and save charts would be required.

You can do it on MT4 , there was a software long time ago to convert the yahoo Finance data to MT4 readable data structure and just import it into to you mt4 platform. I have done it long long time ago.

1,MT4
2,Tool
3.History
4,import data //something linke that.

or simply use pro real time, it is free or net diana (not free any more) before , Amateur traders 's bloomberg terminal

After 9 11 //there were a lot of restrictions for uk and eu citizens to use USA firms services back that time

I recommend Ninjatrader because it allows for easy starting and can be very complex as needed, it uses C# as the programming language, which is quite fast and useful.
