What a run and I suspect much more to come!!! One word of caution though, GLD was introduced at an intermediate top. Gold dropped by more than 10%. The age old adagium applied: "buy the rumour, sell the news". I personally have no doubt that the smart money is positioning it self for the ETF introduction!! When the ducks are quacking, feed them well!!! ;-)

Hope that longs have been feeding the ducks. I certainly fed them on the way down and covered most my shorts today on drop below 980. I suspect we will get more weakness in the metals now that Gold broke its 50MA, which may test its 100EMA at 530'ish, while silver might test its 50MA <960. I would expect considerable support around those levels.

Another new high in silver. Another good time to go short? The following clip seems to match my view, although I remain bullish for the long run.

Silver makes a run for it to new highs - what a breakout....................yabba dabba dooooooo

Does look like a genuine breakout, and the up slope is getting steep. Time to pile in more?
