Hi - could anyone advise me the best way to find historical or up to date data on sectors?

I would like to work out which sectors are outperforming or underperforming the market, and if possible to track them on a month-by-month basis. Historical information would also be useful.

Where do people generally find information on sectors?

I use Sharescope, it is not free and there are probably
free web sites that do the same, but I like it.
