Pay off mortgage trading ?

interesting comments. maybe a way forward for me is to sell the house, take out any equity I have and trade that while renting.....now how do I get that one past the wife.....:whistling

I'm sure that what you wrote was tounge in cheek, but just in case, I thought I should clarify. When I started short term trading more seriously I paid off the mortgage and was completely debt free, I didn't sell my place to clear the mortgage and raise trading capital. It was approx 5 years later that I sold to rent and diversified the proceeds into other investments.
