Here's the reason I quit my silver trade today. I see two possibilities and want to lock some gains on a corrective move.

HI Guys, count me out this week, not filled on eurnzd. Any chance we could extend the call for entries till Monday eve Dave?

Mike

I'm open to it if that would help people decide on their position for the week.

So the new deadline would be Midnight BST on a Monday, but the positions would still have to be closed by Friday night.

Personally, I'm in favour of keeping the Sunday night deadline.

The more time-creep is introduced, the less skill/judgement/luck(!) is involved ... imho.

I like the idea of 'predicting' the path of an asset before it happens, it reinforces my belief in my own intuition (when right!) and alerts me to when my 'thinking' is going against the trend.

Ok, I'm going to make a special dispensation for Mike only, as he has proven that his picks are always well thought out and based on daily set-ups and not just on a whim. And also because I can see that it's a real issue for him as he's had to scratch at least three weeks picks over the last 17 weeks. So the Sunday entry deadline will not apply to Mike only.

However, everyone else will still be required to submit their picks by Sunday Night but I will allow other traders to enter later by request once they have traded regularly on thread and proven that their picks are well thought out. As otherwise what SlipperyC said above could happen and would damage the quality of the thread.
