Firstly I'd like to say 'hi' to the forum!
I won't bore you with the life's story. I simply have several questions regarding sourcing a broker + trading platform. Any help is greatly appreciated!
I need a broker/platform that meet the following criteria:
1. Volume indicator in the charting software. Even a newbie like me knows how crucial a VI is!
2. Allows the opening of an account with a low initial deposit. I'm only planning on starting-out with £200-£300, just to get a feel of what it's like to trade with real money.
3. Due to my initially modest account size, I need a broker that charges a spread, not a commission.
4. I want to trade commodities, either CFDs, futures or spread-betting; metals and energy mainly. I'm not interested in forex, largely due to all the money printing that's been going on.
5. I also need a good charting package for whichever market I eventually choose. I'd be prepared to pay up to £20 a month, but obviously, free would be better!
6. I would like access to a decent amount of leverage, again, allowing me to trade on limited funds.
7. Probably loads of other questions I can't think of right now. Feel free to add anything that might be useful for me as a newbie to know. :cheesy:
Thanks in advance for any help!
