Hi,

Im looking to learn about trading e-mini s&p 500 (futures), but hard as i try i cant find
somewhere i can paper trade. All im after is a virtual account where i can put what i learn into action. Looking to learn about scalping ?? , pulling of 2pt's at a time.

I understand it will take me a few years to come to grips with it all, it took me 20 years to master plumbing! lol.

Any info would be great about the above subject.

Paper trading has it's limitations - you might learn strategy but you'll not learn that much about yourself.

If you want to paper trade (and despite the above comment, it's not a totally bad idea imo), I would suggest that the best thing to do is open an account with IB (or someone), and use a simulator like www.zerolinetrader.com or www.tradingsimulation.com and see how your results come out. Admittedly it will 'cost' you £1500 to open the account and £10 a month if you don't trade, but you'll get reliable results that you can see (and your £1500 or therabouts back in a few months if you decide it's not for you)

have a look at ensign software only 39.95 bucks a month and if you take the ib feed will allow you to chart all market data without paying exchange fees for market data subject to ib minimum charge, has a playback function allowing you to pick your es historical day and trade off that at real time or up to 10 times speed.
great charting program imo.
