to me today was more about protecting my downside earlier on in a vague market. However I still managed to take +37 pips on fibre and +43 pips on cable for a days total of +81 pips, respectable at least on a slow day.. For those who have followed my live trades since 17th June on that well known place where people tweet their thoughts @wirraltraders they will know that I took some +298 pips last week. That was a particularly good week however so I am unlikely to be able to repeat that kind of total this week. Todays total brings my running total as posted there now up to +1954 pips since 17th June. See you tomorrow

postscript: should have hung onto fibre - but there you go, thats trading: "shoulda, wouda, could have"...and as I read somewhere recently, I'd rather make money than simply be right...
