Meta trader 4 - FTSE/DJ graphs do not work

Hi All,

Posting this on general chat, I have meta trader 4 loaded which I find great for graphical anaysis. Look at a lot of currency pairs but for some reason since June 4th my FTSE and DOW graphs are not picking up any data feeds at all?

Even on the same page the 2 currency pairs I am looing at are working fine and upto date by the second but theb FTSE and DOW graphs have not picked up any data feed since 4th June?

Does anyone know if Meta trader have actually stopped the data fees for these graphs? Could go direct to them but thought I would post on here with such a large audience that it maybe a computer issue that I am not aware of?

MT4 is an empty piece of software

so where is your feed meant to be coming from ?

ODL securities, maybe they have stopped trading this?

you could check in "Marketwatch" and make sure the symbols are still valid

Give them a call. They'll probably have a good reason.

Cheers guys, I did send them an email but their guy is on leave for a few days. Did check market watch and the ticket is there but that also has the last price of that of the 4th June. Think they have stopped trading it, sure they wil get back to me soon and reveal all. Thanks again for your help.

Are you talking FTSE/DOW cash or Futures ?

Rather than open a trading account with another broker you could fall back on a demo version
These people do ftse cash and futures
Arguably a better feed as well

A while back I posted the press release about FXCM agreeing to acquire ODL Markets. We're happy

click file, then new chart, go down to NT indices and open DJ30 for dow and FT100 for ftse.

just checked patterns are the same but prices are way off.
