Hi,
Am I correct that rather that using a 'market maker' like Oanda, who allegedly take the other side of any position you take and thereby creating a conflict of interest, I might as well open an account with a spreadbetting firm like IG index and not pay any income tax (assuming I make a significant profit)?
Is there any advantage to firms like Oanda over spreadbetting? Eventually I would like to use an ECN but they all require quite large minimum account balances.
Thanks
