It's the first time in a while I've had no genuine intuition as to direction. I think that weird 6pm move has me off-kilter.

china cpi and ppi data out at around 8:30 tonight. Chinese data sometimes is not released at the exact time. Keeps everyone on their toes I guess. Look for aud and jpy pairs to move a bit.

Thanks, Pete. That might just be it.

News moves are always very weird in "feel". Most times you can tell where it's going just from those little blips maybe 10-20m prior to the news. Other times like this is just fakeout stuff or something. No real meaning or sense to them, just soulless and random anticipatory positioning.

... Or maybe it's just me. 😆
