Hello there, I don't have any TP. My backtesting showed that TP would reduce overall profitability when hit ratio is around 50%.
Looking over an extended period of time, S&P makes bigger moves than 150 pips 9pm - 9pm and I'm trying to catch the whole move. The most important bit is to be on the right side of such a move.
There are days when I'm thinking that I should have moved my SL or closed trade while in profit. Also, there are days when I'm thinking I should just observe direction between 9 pm and 2.30 pm and then enter at 2.30 pm in the opposite way.
For now, though, I'm trying to give it a go as it is, i.e. open / close 9 pm, SL 150 pips, no TP.
I am sure that someone more experienced would know if/when to close the trade during the day, but I am usually busy at work !
