Yes , but you can p1ssed as a rat, get in your car, run somebody over and kill them.

You would probably get the same sentence as this poor guy who just wasted a few quid.

It was the same with Nick Leeson. There was absolutely no point in jailing him.

It didn't deter anyone.

BTW, Ambrose, my sister was knocked down on a zebra crossing many years ago and sustained life long injuries by a bast*** who was OVERTAKING on the crossing. Although it was witnessed by a policeman he only lost his licence for three months and got a £10 fine.

Richard, this world is full of inequities and is very very unfair.

They're trying to change the driving laws Chartsy. Should be brought in line with wreckless behaviour using any other offensive weapon IMO.

Another demonstration of the magical capability of parliament. Good, fair laws obv aren't worth the fact that their mates may lose their licences when they're speeding to their country houses.
