then let's invade the falklands, see if the argies come to the rescue... if they do they'll look very silly, won't they1
How ironic, a Rothschild predicting WW3.
Do us a favour bud, correct the spelling in the thread title would ya?...
Anyhow we've touched on this subject before and a few points just to move the thread along;
IMHO capitalism has failed, how can fractional reserve banking, creating an exponential fiat money supply, underpinned by no intrinsic physical value, not eventualy fail?
As we've discussed on 'ere before the global money supply has to have a re-set button, even the usual re-set hyper space button of war (sponsored by the Rothschilds) won't *work* this time...War to secure fossil fuels, which constantly increase in price exponentially due to the cost of extraction, is the road to capitalist hell...
I'm being simplistic here, but IMO we've reached a perfect capitalist storm, a series of event horizons; peak oil, end of dollar domination (end of US empire building/crusades), new nuclear powers inevitably emerging (sponsored by Russia to invert the power play)...
IMO developed countries have to consider previous anathema economic concepts, for example, zero percent economic growth as a goal...?
I hold out a small belief... I'd say around 3%... that we could move towards libertarianism in this country. I'd have put that at well under 0.1% before this coalition...
Oh, you mean a world totally dominated by corporate power where ordinary people whose only real power is to democratically elect a government that might act in their interest (which strangely enough does not always correspond to corporate interests) has been reduced to an irrelevancy because government has been so emaciated in the name of "liberty"?
Yes I can see why support for that political ideology might be just 0.1%. Hey it might even gain a percentage point under the Tories.
An emaciated government would be a welcome change in the UK - we have become very used to a hugely bloated one fed through extortion from the productive members of society. It uses the proceeds to fund an enormous client state which keeps it perpetually in power (until the economic cosequences of its ruinous socialism cause collapse a la Greece). The UK is about (I think) 3 years behind Greece.
You didn't mean an "emasculated" government did you? That too would be welcome - our government's appetite for tyranny nearly matches its enthusiasm for social Marxism and its deranged economic mismanagement.
Libertarianism: The final resting place for cold war warriors, bypassed by history with nowhere else to go.
we should really invade france for old times sake, then march on berlin again..make sure they know we haven't forgotten
Heck being the nice guys we are we'd throw our fellow country men and girls like Frau Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha, her brethren and all the rest of you lot a nice welcoming party down memory lane any time.
