To stop burning fossil fuel is only part of the story.
As long as you burn fossil fuel ther is no recycling, no way back from CO2.
About panels what you say was true 20 years ago.
When 100% energy will be renewable the energy cost to produce something will be out of the equation.
We have too reach the point of 100% renewable energy and 98% recyclable raw materials.
This is capitalism, someone has to make money to move forward.
I ma not saying Tesla lithum batteries are the best to store energy in the grid but that is what they have today.
Probably other kind of batteries have a much longer lifetime, even flywheels or liquid air make more sense.
The point is that we have to go to renewable generation and develop electricity storage.
Those who belong to this greener economy will make money.
