Yes I don't use the recommendet stop by IDT, I use only RSI Alert and the trend indicator, I think that's very simple to make money.

Yes, I add positions if my first not closed yet. About loss --- If I haven't alert from RSI Alert IDT -- I close all my position by the market price when received a new forecast.

you may be humoured to know that Hoggums has been doing some simple, non-optimised testing on RSI, and found it to be one of the better performers without being optimised.

so, your idea of selling the 70 (local overbought) in a broadly defined downtrend and buying the 30 (local oversold) in a broadly defined uptrend carries some element of verification.
(note: the shorter time-frames were deemed unproductive, but your spin makes logical sense in the context of your usage of RSI)
