Machines have a decisive advantage because, you may call, they have steady hand. Humans are vulnerable because we cannot keep the similar vigilance required to play with the machines, even if we understand chess as well as machines do, even if we can survive the brute force of calculation. At the end of the day, the pressure on the human player facing the machine is simply unbearable.
ie, HFT/Algos
KASPAROV: I don’t think humans, at the highest level, are playing the machines anymore. It’s useless because you know the outcome.
