IG Data Into Excel

I am interested in streaming IG's data into Excel. Does anyone know of a way to do this. I would be willing to hire someone to complete the task if necessary.

In what way do you want to stream the data mate? IG's website uses secure java running in a HTPPS environment - unless you know something - or someone in IG's web team 🙄 It might be hard to do this. Let me know what you want to do I might know the man who can.

In my view it is probably possible by use of XML but as I dont use SB companies then I wouldnt know for sure.

pretty sure it not unfortuntley - happy to be proven wrong but I dont know any SB company out there who provides and interface to prices/portfolio/trading ...would love to see one though !

I tried and found it impossible as they have a secure encrypted stream.

I'd be interested in exactly how you tried to do this, as I have the seed of an idea that would need to do this on a different feed.

Did you set 'yourself' up as a proxy server then try to intercept the feed there?

IG Index to Excel

Hi,
I have an excel tool that will pull your real time watchlist buy/sell prices and other data such as FX rates etc into an organised table in excel. Refresh time every 1 second. Allows you to analyse and build a picture of historic data and trending to aid in your strategy. Possible to do for other spread betting websites as well. It took me some time to develop and there may be some bespoke work I need to do for your watchlist so I do charge a fee. But worthwhile if you want to build up an historic picture of your watchlist.
