What's unrealistic about it? I did state: By decent money, I meant enough to start not enough to earn a comfortable living.

In fact, £10 could be realistic if you're trading with Oanda.

ive been trading for 18 years now ,FTSE, DAX, Bund, just about everything now trading oil, it takes an awfull lot of time and effort to make it, doesn't matter how much money you have it can be blown in a day. The key to being a sucsessful trader is consistancy, (spell check) bit by bit every day, building it up and taking your profits and limiting your losses. Two types of traders, players and consistent, the latter wins hands down, but comes from hard work and being sensible.
