How to swingtrade a LT investment ?

I have a couple of stocks I have as a LT investment where I believe that the price will follow the fundamentals. However, I would like to swingtrade a % of those positions to catch shortterm movements.

Does anyone have some ideas for a good & simple swingtrading plan ?
