How do people that trade the news get the most up to date info ?

Forget instant news info

Forget DOM etc

Just work on a 5 or 10 second tick chart along with PA and price structure from last 9 or 18 mins pre news

I have atm 2 brokers with platforms supplying combinations of tick charts from 5 second to 30 seconds a tick or more

Guess you know nothing about FX trading ?

Yes - I do - and they can be tricked - just like most things in FX trading

But the tricks are easier to see on the structure of a quick tick
