Historic Data

Can anyone suggest to where I can download historic end of day data (e.g.Date,High,Low,Open,Close,Volume) in a spreadsheet or xml or similar?

I was using yahoo finance but they are often a day or so behind. MSN finance have historic data but dont let you download to a file.

Any suggestions?

for free? never easy. Maybe visualchart offers this possibility. (but you must at least login if I remember well)
